engaging an act, such as a business meeting. That inner opening to the Higher Power is guaranteed to attract positive results soon after. For myself, this is in essence an act of consecrating an activity by opening to the spiritual force and power of the Divine Mother. (She is the creative power of the Infinite Divine, who came down as the personality of Mira, the partner of sage and seer Sri Aurobindo.) For others, it may take shape somewhat differently -- e.g. simply as a trust and faith in a Higher Power.
Whatever the object of the Higher Power, this method of consecrating acts is virtually unfailing in its ability to attract and align with the very best of conditions. It is especially effective for those who have deep faith in the spiritual Object, and do not make demands on that Infinite consciousness and power, embracing whatever is to come.
It turns out that in the past year or two, I have been experimenting with a closely related spiritual technique, which seems to have an even more concentrated effect on ensuing events. It is to connect with this spiritual Power, and then imagine Its Light and Force radiating down on the participants of the upcoming activity, or the activity itself. (Again, for me, it is to shower down the force of the Divine Mother.) It turns out that every time I have practiced this technique, the results have been staggering. For example, right after the activity begins I learn that--
--things that I had expected to have taken months or even years to have gotten under way have suddenly moved onto the fast track.
--creative new approaches to a problem are revealed, in ways I never would have imagined, putting the activity or project on a dramatic new path.
--people suddenly are in full agreement on future direction when previously was not even the beginning of consensus.
Each time I experienced these unexpected, astonishing results -- often learning of them in the first 2 or 3 minutes of the meeting or conference call -- it would strike me as an absolute miracle. In the end, however, I recognized the overwhelming life response power generated by the radiating energy and power of the Infinite consciousness. When we summon that Light and Force, imagining it descending and radiating down on the targeted party, we engage in an unparalleled act of inner human capacity. We have directed an ultimate Consciousness and Force, originating in an Infinite Being, to create the ultimate conditions of life in a flash. It is both an act of self-givingness, in that it attracts powerful positive results for the recipients, as well as an activity that helps fulfill our own deepest aspirations and intentions.
When we garner and imagine the Light and Force descending on the targeted party, we align with the most positive conditions of life imaginable -- overcoming limits of space, time, causality, and possibility. If you try it, it will strike you as nothing less than a miracle of life in action.
