While everyone is excited by the hype of The Secret because of all its TV coverage (Oprah and Larry King), we must not forget that the Law of Attraction, the very premise of the movie, came from the classic book "The Secret Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles

The ideas in The Secret saturate much of ancient Eastern thought, from the Vedas to the Upanishads to the Bhagavad Gita. It is also there in other traditions as well. For example, the ancient Indian texts known as the Upanishads declare, “You are what your deepest desire is. As is your desire, so is your intention. As is your intention, so is your will. As is your will, so is your deed. As is your deed, so is your destiny.” The Gita says you become that which you believe you can become. RP
